James Paley, Principal Consultant

James Paley is the president of PALEY Stone & Tile Forensics, LLC, and past president of ATLAS Marble & Stone Care, Inc. His companies have been providing natural and engineered stone, tile, and paver consulting, restoration, maintenance, and repair services since 1987. He adds his unique perspective to the hard surfaces industry through his extensive experience in inspection and testing, formal education in geology, and real-life application of products and procedures learned in the industry for more than 20 years. In addition, he served as a consultant to the Natural Stone Institute helping to rewrite its Dimension Stone Design Manual, Version VII sections addressing Natural Stone Diagnostics, Restoration, and Maintenance.
