Serious problems require an examination of the flooring system to determine the cause of various issues, such as cracked stone, cracked grout, movement, hollowness, etc.   In this situation, extensive and serious repairs are required to minimize damage to the stone and installation.   To properly assess the causes of the issues and the development of corrective solutions, tests and studies were conducted over a two-month period and involved an examination of thermal expansion, flooring system analysis, mapping issues for a 55,000 sq. ft. installation, repair specifications and procedures, etc.
